About Us

The joy of my work is to help both children and adults (and their families) identify their strengths and their weak areas, but most importantly their strengths, so that the weak areas do not define who they are.
Dr. Valerie L. Andrews, Ph.D.
LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST, PSY22601
I am a clinical neuropsychologist, which means I am a licensed psychologist with expertise in how behavior and skills are related. I help families and their children who are struggling, and I help teachers with the students they want to help more efficiently. These evaluations are also used in school IEP’s and for SAT and ACT accommodations.
In a neuropsychological assessment, brain function is evaluated by objectively testing memory and thinking skills. A very detailed assessment is done, and the pattern of strengths and weaknesses are combined to make a diagnosis and a treatment plan. I conduct the evaluation and make recommendations to client, the family and the school, if applicable.
I work with the client, no matter how old they are, and the family. The strength of my practice is being able to take into account all areas of life and make a complete evaluation by getting to the root of a problem and finding a way through it.
